Final Reflection

To begin my game I first had to have an objective so I figured I would do a maze, so when I was coming up with a layout I used blocks to create the maze feeling. I needed to make sure that the sprite was unable to walk right though the blocks so I had to use a sensing block which was the hardest part of the project for me. I could not seem to make the block work. At first I couldn't figure out how to change the colors of the sensing block to match the color of my sprite and the maze blocks. To work through this problem I went to the youtube links on scratch that we watched in class and sure enough the answer was right in the video. The very first time I tested my game I could not get the levels to change when I reached the finish point of the first level. My game was not working as I intended it to. I kept playing the game hoping the level would change when I reached the finishing point but nothing happened, so I finally went back and reviewed my script. When I went back to my script I realized I was missing the sensing block I needed, so I added it in and my game was complete. I am very proud of my final project. I came into this class with no knowledge what so ever on scratch and now I am able to make games.
