New Binary Code
Instead of using numbers or letters to create binary code I decided to use symbols. For example # would stand for 1 and @ would stand for zero. If I had to get to number six the binary code would be @@##@. You would let each symbol stand for a dotted card as the dotted cars increase you would double the value of the last card. @@@@@ = 0 @@@@# = 1 @@@#@ = 2 @@@## = 3 and so on.

"Why Do Computers Use Binary"
1. Three things I learned from watching this video are that head phones also require binary to work. Headphones use voltage to make sound. If the voltage is high then the head phone will burst pressure out, but if the voltage is low then it will take pressure in producing sound. To tell how much voltage to put in you only use the number 0-9 any number from 0-1 is 0 any number from 1-2 is one and so on.
2. I don't understand how the adder could get the number wrong if it gets to it at the wrong time. Why would the number change? I also don't understand how cutting the range will help the adder get the number correct.
1. One thing I would like to learn more about is how the voltages are produced from a computer.

Binary Game
1. The highest level I got was five.
2. I think the hardest part is trying to add up the high numbers to find the number when given the dots.
3. I do like binary numbers to count with. I like it because it is unique and interesting to see how it relates to computer coding.
4. You could use your five fingers to count binary. Each finger would be a certain number of dots for example the thumb would be one dot, the index would be two dots, the middle finger would be four, and so on.
5. A connection with how the binary system is used would be the alphabet. One dot would stand for 00001 and that would be the letter A two dots would be the letter B and that would be 00010.

Eliza
1. I did not find Eliza to be "human-like" she did't want to share anything about herself and when you would ask her questions she would direct them back at you without answering them herself. When you are talking to a human they answer you back with answers and don't contradict you.
2. To make Eliza more human I would allow her to have interest of her own that way people could talk about those interest together. Also I would give Eliza more knowledge she doesn't seem to know a lot about anything, so to start off I would pick one topic and give her all the information possible on that topic. I think if Eliza had more information and more human qualities like interest she would be easier to talk to.
3.I don't expect a lot of emotion or emotion words from a computer because computers can't feel like humans. There will never be a way to make a computer exactly like a human because whether or not you give it emotions it can't actually feel those emotions so it would be hard for them to talk about them.
4.I don't think computers would be good human like substitutes because humans provide comfort for others. In order for you to really open up to someone you need to know things about them. The only thing I can see human like computers coming into use for is cleaning. Other than that many people wouldn't want computers because its taking away from jobs and money even though it is making things easier for other humans it would be making it even harder for other humans.

Google Boys Reflection
1. Both Larry and Surge went to college at Stanford. When they first met each other they didn't like one another, but as time past they grew fond of each other. They then got together and started playing around with computers. They wanted to create a simple search engine that was easy to get information on. They then came up with a way to link pages and rank them they page with the most cites linked to it usually got the most ranks. With this amazing system they needed a way to display they decided that they would have ads to relate to the search. They then went public and many enjoy using Google today.
2. Two challenges that google faces as they move forward is to continue to advance and be a big competition to other search engines. They need to make their search engine the fastest and most accurate. They are also working on new technological advances for example glasses and smart phones. They need to branch out from just a search engine of they want to really impact the world.
3. Their key to staying ahead of the competition and always advancing is to constantly be making additions to google to make it better. They also have many employees working together to brainstorm on idea to help improve google in many different levels.
4. Google uses a system known as the page rank. They look for sources that contain the word or words for what people searches. For example if I searched the word apple the cite that says the word apple twenty times will be raked higher than a cite that only says it one or two times. It does not only go off of the amount of times a word is said but many employees are continuously reviewing the cite to make sure that their content is reliable. Google also sees how many people have linked their cite to that cite and the cite with twenty links to it will be ranked higher than a cote with only three links to it.

Graffiti Grapher Notes
- When people think of graffiti they don't think of math and that is what many artist use to create their artwork. The use math concepts like geometry.
- Graffiti isn't really appreciated by many out side of the hip hop world because it is done illegally and on property.
- A person who does graffiti usually does it express emotion or send a message. Because graffiti is illegal most people who do graffiti keep their identity a secret.
- Graffiti goes back all the way to ancient Rome, but the kind we see today came from New York in 1960's on subway trains.
- Because everyone wanted to be famous for their graffiti it became very popular and the amount of graffiti on trains were overwhelming.
- Spray cans were then used to tag trains because it was easier and quicker. It also allowed larger pieces of graffiti to be created.
- The graffiti writers would have "Style Wars" those who because most famous would create the largest most complex pieces that were different from everyone else's. This cause many big graffiti artist to appoint minor artists as apprentices.
- The Golden Age of graffiti happened during the 70's and as a result of the enormous amounts of graffiti barbed wires guard dogs and police where now in effect to try and stop the artist from "vandalism."
- Graffiti gave many poor children a way to express themselves and show society that they do have talent. Because many of the graffiti artist did come form the ghetto they had motivation and the desire to accomplish something so they put a lot of time and hard work into graffiti.
- In the 80's the amount of graffiti decreased because the security was increasing. Trains with a lot of graffiti were taken off the rails
